This past spring the female of 18 years disapeared. She is presumed dead. I first reilized this when I noticed a strange eagle on her nest. I knew then she had to be gone becaues she would not let another adult eagle in the bog let alone her nest.
This is very exciting for me because ,this new female, I have hoped has befriended the male and will breed so we can all whitness eaglits again. With these photos there is hope because
they are not building the nest for themselves. Thanks for looking folks,
Andy
