It is my hopes here to let folks know what is happening at the bog from time to time with a few current photos and maybe some commentary.
These photos were taken an nov 24th, The eagles are busy building their nest for the spring season. The male is delivering a pine branch, the female looking on.

This past spring the female of 18 years disapeared. She is presumed dead. I knew then she had to be gone becaues she would not let another adult eagle in the bog let alone her nest.

This is very exciting for me because ,this new female, I have hoped has befriended the male and will breed so we can all whitness eaglits again. With these photos there is hope because they are not building the nest for themselves.

Thanks for looking folks,

Andy
